Dr. Jane Akhtar

I am an experienced dentist with a special interest in endodontics (root canal therapy). I have worked for 30 years in general practice since qualifying from Cardiff University in 1993 and I understand how challenging dentistry can be. I gained a distinction in my master’s degree in Endodontology with The University of Chester. This incorporated 2 years of part time hands-on teaching with the fantastic simplyendo team and culminated in a dissertation entitled, ‘A systematic review of the impact of the dental operating microscope (& other magnification devices) on the management and outcome of endodontics treatment’.

I currently practice endodontics at The Smile Spa (Stockton) and High Peak Dental Care (Derbyshire).
