“In October last year I had a fall which ended up damaging some of my front teeth. As someone who had avoided dentists for many years due to my nervousness, I knew this was going to be a challenge to get my teeth fixed. After a few visits, firstly at the emergency dentist after my fall, then to a male dentist (who was lovely), I was then given my appointments with Jane. What can I say... Having had my apprehension with dentists eased with the male dentist at Smile Spa, Jane has almost quashed it completely. I could never have envisaged sitting in a dentist chair "awake" and having treatment a year ago but now, it's a breeze. The root canal treatment was painless. I would say the worst part of it was having to keep my mouth open for so long but I was constantly asked if I needed a break which was great. The whole procedure took less than an hour. “After my usual dentist left the practice Jane gave me my checkup. Having met her only this once I immediately asked the practice to make her my go to dentist so impressed was I with her personality and attitude. After having some pain in a back tooth an infection was diagnosed and a root canal treatment was my only chance of saving that tooth. I was told by the practice that Jane has a special interest in these predecessors and I was in excellent hands. The treatment was spaced over a few months with each stage explained fully in a very understandable way. Im quite a nervous person but felt fully at ease with her talking to me the whole time, not a skill many people have these days. The treatment was finished with a white onlay and it looks amazing and feels just like it did… without the pain though. I admit at the time I thought it a little expensive to have a root canal treatment but when I saw how many steps, the time it took and technology required to do this I am more than satisfied its been money very well spent. I would highly recommend this practice and Jane in particular.”

I don't usually write reviews but Dr Jane is truly exceptional. As someone who has a fear of dentists, this holds extremely significant value. First and foremost, she displayed a great deal of attentiveness in determining the issue at hand. From the moment I set foot inside her clinic, she created a soothing atmosphere and made me feel very realaxed with her calming voice. I had a root treatment done and it was completely painless. I was initially quite apprehensive, but I was pleasantly surprised by her gentle touch. I barely felt a thing during the procedure. Additionally, she performed a thorough examination of my tooth, during the procedure, including taking multiple X-Rays to ensure everything was in order. She took the time to explain each step of the process and showed me the X-Rays to keep me informed. After the anaesthetic wore off, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't experience any pain or discomfort either. I was even more surprised to find that I didn't experience any discomfort the following day either, as if my dental appointment never happened. In conclusion, this was an exceptional experience. I highly recommend her. I will definitely be returning to Dr. Jane in the future with complete confidence.
